What to wear?
We would love for you to dress up with us! Imagine an English garden party! Think happy colours (see below) and spring florals. The official dress code title is cocktail.
It's a British tradition for women to wear wedding hats or fascinators to weddings. If you want to take a part in that, please do! However, don't feel as if you have to!

Getting There
TRANSPORTATION
Georgetown is around an hour from Myrtle Beach and Charleston. There is no public transit, so car rentals will be needed for those flying in. There is no parking at the location, BUT there is public parking 1.5 blocks away and lots of street parking.
ACCOMMODATION
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn Georgetown - Marina for both September 5 and September 6 so that you can get a discounted rate (179USD plus tax for a street view room and 199USD plus tax for a water view room). When you call to make a reservation say it is for the Blanton/Chapman Wedding and they will hook you up! These rooms are only being held until August 5, so you will need to book before then.
There are also other hotels, home rentals, and bed & breakfasts in the area.
Registry
We recognize that many people are travelling a very long way in order to celebrate with us. Your presence is our present! With that being said, we understand that some of you may want to give us a gift, however PLEASE DON'T BRING A PHYSICAL GIFT TO THE WEDDING. Matthew and I live very far away and we will struggle to get it home. If you buy a gift off our registry, it will be shipped to our new home. We also LOVE cards! So if you would like to bring us a card, there will be a spot for you to drop them off, and we can't wait to read them!
